THE ASCENT

The Ascent luxury condominium tower located in Covington, Kentucky was designed by world renowned architect Daniel Libeskind who also worked on the rebuild of the World Trade center in New York.  Completed in 2008 The Ascent features seventy condominium units on twenty-two floors with a total of 310,000 square feet of space.  The top part of the building peaks at 300 feet and many of the building’s condominium units have a view of the Ohio River.

The Ascent community features include a fitness center, private outdoor pool, sauna, steam rooms, private dining room with a river view, wine cellar and tasting room, private theater, guest condominiums, 24/7 security and concierge, private vehicle with driver, restaurant and more.  While some condominiums come up for lease from time to time the majority of condominiums come to market for sale.  Prices for the condominiums start in the low $400,000s and go all the way up to the low $2,000,000s.

Covington was founded in 1815 and named after General Covington who was killed in action during the War of 1812.  Covington later was officially incorporated as a city in 1864 by the Kentucky General Assembly.
